Sessions & Schedule

The main portion of the day, from 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., is split into six sessions. Following a brief afternoon break, three customized tracks are offered from 2:40 to 4:30 p.m.

Track 1 for coaches, administrators and strength & conditioning professionals.

Track 2 for physicians and medical professionals.

Track 3 for athletic trainers, physical therapists and other allied health professionals.

Note: The Sports Medicine Symposium is being hosted in conjunction with the 2017 US Lacrosse Convention. While registration for each event is independent, those attendees registering for the convention may add a symposium registration for just $35.

Advance registration for the Symposium has closed.
Walk-up registration will be accepted at the event on Friday, January 20.


Continuing Education Credits

The 2017 Symposium is planned in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through joint sponsorship of MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and US Lacrosse. MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is accredited by MedChi.

This course has been approved by the DC & Maryland Board of Physical Examiners for 0.7 CEUs. Approval of this course shall remain in effect through January 2019. MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network (BOC AP#: P1046) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers.
