Playing Opportunities

School Teams

Nearly 4,000 high schools nationally feature lacrosse teams, both traditional varsity teams and school-based club teams for boys and girls.

Club Teams

Many high school players play for local or regional club teams in addition to their high school teams. These club teams usually play in the summer and fall.

US Lacrosse has a network of 67 regional chapters around the country that help support local youth organizations and provide playing opportunities for you.

Being a Multi-sport Athlete

"Don’t succumb to the pressure. The myth is that if you miss this tournament or that camp that you won’t make it. That’s not true. I don’t feel like you get the best out of kids when they are playing a sport nine months out of the year. Nothing feels really special anymore."

-Scott Marr, Albany
